and the steaming coffee cup
I still pour to visualize your sip and
close of eyes
exhale,

In the heat of the day
as I smile back and
reach fingers that can’t help
disappear into the mirage
but heaven is not
untouchable,
forever, you are near.

In your voice, soft vibrations
of comfort linger,
your aftershave dallyies
in passenger seat memories,
wherever I go,
you are near.

In the pushing forward of my hips
to import the memory of
your touch
to the close of night’s eyes
holding my pillow tight,
you are near.

(sigh) Such soft and tender expressions of beautiful love! (sigh) Oh jellybeans, I always have these thoughts too when I look at the smallest things, when I look at the moon, smell a rose, lick candy, lie in a daffodil field, thoughts of my dream girl come swimming in my head, flooding me with passion.
