Do you,my beloved, dream of vigils That we lovers keep Between silken sheets As soundly you sleep? While all the night long, I call forth your name, With all depth of my soul And every nerve set aflame. If only, my love, Could you see into my heart, How fond and true, How I loathe being apart My warmest of words, So poorly,do explain The eager desire, all consuming, melting pain And through my very blood and soul I be compelled to feel, That which you might not believe Nor may I fully reveal. Hence, every word and metaphor Must sadly render less And yet, beloved, which I long to completely express ......between your sheets. Wow! This was so beautifully done but so very sad, so...I guess you did your job well Koko, as you made me "feel" what you wrote. Great job. ~*~ I write, therefore I am ~*~ |

I read your words and immediately knew what was in your heart.. a most tender poem, beautiful graphic and one of my favorite songs, 'I Finally Found Someone'. This made me think about how loving someone, at times, can be, oh, so bittersweet. A fine write, dear heart.. Kate Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. |

Not only are your thoughts as silken as the sheets ... and your lilting music, sheer serenity, but then you go and wrap it up with such a beautiful picture ... WOW ! Just WOW ! ... all the way ! Grand Slam - Home Run ! In case you couldn't tell ... I LOVE IT ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
