DAMN that squeaking hamster wheel
Is something I’m going to have to steal
It’s sounding just like a dentists drill
Giving me a headache for which there is no pill
I’d much rather hear that rodent’s tiny squeal
As it’s body is smashed under my car’s wheel
But if I did that my son’s heart would never heal
He’d be trying to get revenge...but EVEN STILL !!!
I’m only human and I don’t have nerves of steal
I’m trying hard to stay calm and keep the chill
I close my eyes as I image fur on my boots heel
One thought of my son’s sad face and how I’d feel
Is enough to cause pause and allow me to kneel
Please God...please bring silence…or I WILL!

WD40 anyone???

Poetical.....I know of what you are speaking. We have a hamster who runs practically all night. We are very forgiving though because he's such a cute little bugger.
I do intend to show your enjoyable poem to my wife because she will love it.

I am forcing the WD40 through the screen for it sounds like an urgent need. Truly if it were not for children, I would not suffer white mice, hamsters or gold fish.

It never seems to matter HOW much you oil them...hamster wheels just squeak...this was fun

ROFL!!!! i've got a can of WD-40 right here... i'll email it to you.... frigging hamsters.... sometimes i feel like i AM one going around on that treadmill all night long.... geesh
