Sometimes I think to wonder why Not every person passing by, Will stop to take another glance And know that it is not by chance, They meet. And how another is more wise And takes the time to realize This person could be one, who they Would like to meet another day And stops. I am so glad that you and I, Were not two souls just passing by, But saw that we had more to share And took the time to learn to care About the other. And since you are but half my age, I could have been a single page In the book of life that is your own And each of us would not have known, What we had missed. This May/December friendship, we Have cultivated,is to me A very special blessing, I Will cherish till the day I die, And longer. Joyce, This was a nice read. May I suggest that you change May, December to May/December. Just a thought. Panne |

Well said, Joyce. Many times we do not stop long enough to see what is right in front of us. Friendship is a precious gift. I hope yours continues. All writing comes |
