Yesterday I loved the way you smiled, Today I hate the way you talk, Somehow I've lost the magic spell, It's nearly tossed me into a cell, So dismal I feel, can this memory be sealed, From my tattered tortured wiery mind, Let me love again and find, The real love that I hear of, Not the fairy tale world, That always has happily ever after, But the real love that makes for an eternity, Not an illusion lost to fairy lands, But truth found in the here and now, Then maybe upon this center stage, All I have is love, not rage. |

"But the real love that makes for an eternity"... something we'd all love to find... something it's hard to give up hoping for no matter how many times disappointment slaps us down. *S* I enjoyed this, Rosebud! *S* |
