A simple Man |

at the gas station the old man has an easy face only lines from smiles content with his labors some look down at the man pumping gas but if you raise your head frome your low contemplation you may finally see him many years ago as a practiced doctor he delivered you still knows your screaming face changed though it has as he wipes dripping gas with his greasy hands you cannot immagine the magic they once contained as you pay him he gives you a warm smile but you fail to notice because he is just a simple gas pumper |

Great poem! Sometimes where we are now is not where we have been, but it is in fact a better place; loved the concept of this. |

thanks mysteria- I always think of this when I am out delivering Shwan's food in a truck. People sometimes look down at you and don't realize who you are. |
