Missing Verse - Oh, Curse ~*Marge Tindal*~ Can't imagine where I left it or where it got off to I only know it's slipped away and left me feeling blue ! I've turned my mind-mattress upside down looking for a well-marked trail Darned little muse flew out the window and took my verse as well ! Someday I hope to find it and share it as the missing verse But you have my permission to use it if you should find it first ! Impale it with your quill Give it voice to sing For though it passed me by this time inked joy to you it will bring ! Keep your eyes peeled for a tiny muse that comes and goes with ease If you should happen to snare it Share it ... please - Oh, please ! Oh, curse - could be worse - But not by much - and as such Enough said - back to bed ! *Such a merry little chase ! ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

i FOUND your verse and what is worse i'm stealing it from you!! I'll write it down, the verse i found, and post it as brand new!! I'll call it MINE and then combine some other words, you'll see! and then i'll name it MY VERSE and i'll call it POETRY! hehe  |

Delightful play with your muse at bay, although I think it may be your view For it seems to me, by what I see that your muse's not left you! Now, me, I have the curse of the verse... which does not tend to mean that the muse is with me day in day out but may just be a dream. |

You mean you're missing ONLY a verse??? LOL. Our muses must be playing games together... mine will only give me A verse (or one verse each for 20 poems... and people wonder why I'm a packrat!) LOL Whatcha mean I'M supposed to put some effort into it? LOL. Nahhhhhhhhh... my muse knows I'm lazy... if she wants any attention, she'd better be back with friends for those unfinished verses! Denise~ LOL ! Mine have knapsacks ... and one gets away I moan ! How ungrateful is that ? Melissa~ Ahhh ! I happen to have a muse lease-lend program~ Be careful what you ask for ... I'm dispatching Poppie (my muse of laughter) and Sliter, Twiter and Tambra (my kitchen cabinet muses) With these four you will get no sleep ... so be prepared. Just keep them warm and happy ... and according to Vicky they LOVE Raspberry Hot Chocolate ! ! SuthernGal~ Yep ! Just a verse that escaped ... but ... but ... it COULD have been the masterpiece ...
