We raise our children with love and care We teach them right from wrong We love them, hold them, comfort them Keep them safe from harm The one day in the blink of an eye We realize they're all grown The leave the home they've always lived For a life out on their own We miss that little hand of theirs That once held ours so tight That sweet angelic peaceful face We watched them sleep at night We send them out into the world Praying for them all the best We pray to God to keep them safe Great things for them, nothing less |

Jill, Very nicely put. A daily reminder to those whose children have yet to leave home and a too real reminder to those whose children already have. Thanks for this. Panne |

Jill~ What heartwarming thoughts. This mom can tell you that those little halo wearers will continue to return to your life and your heart forever ! Thank you for this heartfelt sharing. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
