The cup overflow.
Tears of sorrow.
Tears of hope.
Sometimes it seems too much.
She told me, she loved her.
She told me, she missed her.
And that in a heartbeat,
she would take her back.
We held hands,
I knew her pain.
And told her that in a heartbeat,
I would do the same.
I told her, I loved him.
I told her, I missed him.
And that in a heartbeat,
my heart I would give for him to love me again.
We embraced,
we knew each other's pain.
Understanding love too well.

With love there is to often sorrow, but Love is powerful....it can prevail. Well written.
