yet somehow
full of wrath.
I watch you
walk away
knowing that I must
release,
a prayer
I say in my heart
that you will find
your peace.
My heart,
though it cries
inside
still beats steady
and true,
for you to find
your happiness
is my only wish
for you.
My shoulder
still is here
to lean on
my eyes
will tell you
that I care,
and my heart
will still
be waiting
until your again
ready
to share.
Your searching
for a path
that leads you
to your destiny,
and when you
have come
full circle
I'll be here..
if that path
should lead you..
back to me.
