You and I I am seeing the differences between you and I and all of the alikenesses you are the little gem sparkling in a sweet young thing and I am the old soul that sits upon the spider's ring you are light and merry and sweet singing mirth while I do my best to warm some souls on earth do I wish to be like you? bet your bippy because we two come from a time we share with care we even did some things on a dare and yet you have thought to be like me don't know why perhaps because we shared a tree? or a puddle or a diddle something where we found a middle all I know is that I truly care when I read you I feel so spare of worry and whatnot as feelings rare come to me in Martiesque air do you know I admire you? and want to write as tho we two share one quill as besets a thrill to know a muse who would thus enthuse us beyond the beyond where we might go on to share a sky as the sighs come lingering those we are bringing in but in the light of me as I look at you I know for real I don't have a clue what it's like to be like you… so I can only applaud the Martie that I see and enjoy those times you read back to me in Sunshine time a little rhyme… and certainly I like what I see |
