~* A Myth Flew Into My Muse's Tree *~~* A little myth flew into my muse’s tree, *~ And perched in a poem lisping at me. It was so smart, charming, and coy, It chirped of past history, filled me with joy. It showed me legends of learning and wise, Noble dons, knights, and maidens disguised. And in the morning, clothed in fresh dew, It trilled of hearts broken and happiness due. 'To everyone's need, comes everyone's own!' Thus sang this muse under green leafy crown. It spoke of a right and a need to succeed In the perils of life with a flexible creed. I stood and I listened, half an ear on the tree, When a passing cloud shone its shade upon me. And the muse, sun-dried, clutched for its fantasy, ~* Then flew away, taking a poem from me! *~ |

The art work was grand and the language fanciful. Made me smile. "I am not now that which I have been." |

Julian: I loved the picture and then the muse ran away and did the fanciful words, thanks. |
