Here is three short poems for my 500th post. I'd like to thank everyone at Passions for letting me park the Moorglade in your field for a while.

The New Wave

Ebony sky, a silent velvet black,
a dark breathless night,
your shadow moved across the moon
a sigh on the face of the earth,
platinum hair, coiled stars for an instant
your eyes transfixed moonbeams
lips thick as blood, rubied with smiles,
The sand was warm and soft as gossimer
the sea ran from us
chasing the breeze into thundering caverns,
You took my hand
and we walked into its restless sleep,
eagerly awaiting...
The new wave.

Never

When eyes meet eyes,
when worlds collide
when hearts beat together
when you are me
when lock fits key
when theres no such word as never
when moon meets sun
when we are one
when all we needs each other
then we shall be
forever free
to care for one another.

Snowstorm ( perpetual poem )

If I could but savour once again
that snowy day in December when
the snow lay like a silent shroud
beneath the grey and heavy cloud
which did but open to release
the swirling snowflakes in my face
which stung my flesh and dulled my mind
and made me stumble as if blind
back to the little wooden shack
where the meories flood back
As if I could but savour once again
that snowy day in December when...

HEY---congratulations Senior!

I thought I was going to pick a favorite and I've been hopping back and forth between them...at first I thought "new wave" hands down and then I read snowstorm but "never" is also quite a gem...so? I think I'll take all three please! Beauties, all three!
