The perils of being a flower |

The morning dew, rested on my cheeks. I wasn't crying, it was one of those things. My petals were barely open. and they wanted to wither away. My roots had been uprooted, weakly laying on top soil. I was a moment away from giving up, when you came. You brought the rain. Your brought the sun. You nestle me, secure my hopes. I was so happy at last. But with your love, you also brought a cyclone. |
