I don't know what struggle it is your facing
or why you went away,
I only know that God will hear me
when to him I pray.
I'll ask him to keep you safe
and I'll ask him to keep you warm,
I'll ask him to watch over you
and keep you from all harm.
I'll ask him to help you understand
all of these things you feel,
I'll ask him to let you hear your heart
and help you to decide what is real.
Patiently I'll wait
while you make your choice,
and pray that you will listen
when you hear that voice,
that tells you everything
which you need to know,
and I'll pray that you remember
all of the times that
we've loved each other so...
