My Hug to Everyone at Passions |

My Hug to Everyone at Passions by Michael With each poem, we give ourselves away. Imprinted on the minds of all that read are small pieces of our lives, impressions of what we think and believe. Reading, I come across many troubled hearts, broken lives, lost hopes and dreams. I also come across writers that have overcome life’s travails and in their poetry, offer insight into how they accomplished this. I see romantics, people in search of love, ones that have found it, others that continually mishandle their relationships and then ask why it’s not working. There are poets with painful childhoods that have carried these hurts into their adult lives, even though they are guiltless and should feel no shame at all. There are poets that can’t spell, some that can’t write very well, others that are very talented. Each of us has something to say and we do so as best we are able. Imagine two arms surrounding all of the poets at Passions and you will see the hug that I give to all of you. I wish you my very best.
