Soaring high on immortal wing
Often cloaked, sight unseen
Master harpers sing the lore
Of priceless treasures beyond its door

Bursting flames, burning night
A gallant quest for all that’s right
Men of greed and lustful heart
Are destined to fail from the start

Hark and take heed brave young knight
When you embark on this timeless plight
Hold a favor of your lady fair
It shall protect and guide you there

Search not with eyes, but that within
Be true of heart and you will win
When it is found, show no fear
And to the law always adhere

Steady yourself and raise your sword
Penetrate its armor, claim your reward
Within its lair you will find
Splendid beauty, heavenly divine

Its treasure is comprised, not of gold
Or anything to be bought or sold
Share with your lady this wondrous thing
And you will soar high on immortal wing

JLocke~
I thoroughly enjoyed this piece ~

Really liked the opening verse ~

'Soaring high on immortal wing
Often cloaked, sight unseen
Master harpers sing the lore
Of priceless treasures beyond its door'

Nicely portrayed thoughts.

The Quest is only for the true of heart. I am sure you will win your fair maiden's hand. Good LUCK!
