Chardonnay

A glass or two or maybe more
Never have I done before.
"Empower you"...she says to me
I need to do, I need to see.
Will stop the words of thinking  HE
Addiction not,  is he to me.

It's soothing feel, I drank it all
I sit here now, am feeling raw.
Tomorrow, I, shall begin my start,
Removing hurt and pain from heart.
Because the moment has reached it's time,
These thoughts that burn into my rhyme.

Empower me, promote myself
Remove the dust, of me on shelf.
Get up, the sunrise starts my new
I am, I will, make my debut.
Forget the past, pursue my goal
Fulfill my needs, be in control.

One more drink I need this night
To put away my fears, my plight.
Tomorrow, I'll empowered be,
And stop the  words of thinking HE.
Because the moment has reached it's time
As I complete these words of rhyme.

All I can say is I understand so well, this feeling, knowing that you MUST release the love, yet, needing to wait just till morning, to do so. Beautifully done, as always

Is it true what they say, "Tomorrow never comes"?

"One more drink I need this night
To put away my fears, my plight.
Tomorrow, I'll empowered be,
And stop the  words of thinking HE."

Good luck on starting new!!!

Nothing like a nice glass of wine which I can't enjoy anymore cause of my meds, but boy I love this one!
