beneath the bridge, the creek still flows;
above the water, the clouds remain afloat...
the magenta of your heart’s flowers through the snow
continues to leave me spellbound...

in the bare branches, the sparrow still sings;
protected by the light of day, hues of blue linger overhead...
the constant downpour of your affection, in spite of the cold
always moves my soul to tears...

eternally enveloped in the dark sapphire, the half-lit moon sighs;
forever destined to illuminate my obscurity, the glistening reveals all...
the iridescent allure of your eyes against the night
never ceases to seduce the inclination in me...

*dedicated to the "illumination" in my life...

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

Star gazers of the night. For your light burns not low. The sparrow sings not off key, and the waters will calm down. For your signature passion does not go unnoticed. LP

He is my pen, I am but the paper he
writes on.

Denise:  thank you!!  glad you liked this!

Marge:   thanks!  I am happy you enjoyed!

JM:  hey, m'friend...thank you so much for your compliments...well, I wouldn't say I'd want the snow back, just keep the nice 60-65 degree weather we're havin' now...then I'd be satisfied... ...but I am glad you liked this!

lp:  well, what can I say to such a response except thank you so much...I am glad you could stop by for a read!
