one feels
the need
of
a strong voice

whether within
or turned out
that voice
makes a choice

of the heart

the mind

for a soul

in kind

creating miracles
of choice

how do we know
if whom we touch
needed that
word
so very much

when will we
see
a flower bloom
with dazzling light
in a darkened room

with a voice

creating miracles
of choice

to touch a heart
by word or deed
filling a want
fulfilling a need

with a voice
turned out,
or within

a miracle of choice
to friend or kin

you

take your voice

you make

miracles of choice

you

are not solitary
in your deed

nor alone
in your need

for as you give
of you and yours

my voice
comes to your
soul,
assures

my miracle of choice

now rendered
by my voice

the one that you hear
that you hold near
that you deem
so dear

we are to each
within our reach
a voice
a choice
a miracle
