“MY ANGEL ONCE AGAIN” by Bill Charles ~~~~ You were once my angel, and I pray to see you in heaven, I know why we’re apart, just couldn’t stop it… All those arguments, and harsh words to each other, every one is remembered, to this I do admit… But I’m not writing to criticize, just to be kind and gentle, we both have suffered enough, and we’re really not, that much different… I talked about hurt feelings, perhaps you didn’t understand, so after awhile it came to be, my heart, became absent… But that’s enough of sadness, happier times will come, when we’re way up high, and we see each other there… We once acted as if we were one, in ways, we still do, it seems now though, we can only want to care… Perhaps someday in the future, when all the hurt has passed, we’ll find each other once more, and talk with the fisherman… But even if it’s not the same, I will still hold your hand, and perhaps you’ll still become, “My Angel Once Again”… ~~~~ [This message has been edited by Bill Charles (edited 05-02-2001).] |
