Aging Perks Virginia Salter In my local bank there is a free account for people over fifty to stay a bill’s surmount It has a special name to make one feel so fine The name puts those of us in a lovely frame of mind Instead of dubbing seniors as those over the hill it gives us a finer handle a lovelier, nicer bill For rather than being old, decrepit, elderly we are given “Prime Time” by which to get no fee. Yes, I’m in my Prime Time dears no need to rave or boast I’m in my Prime Time dears now raise with me a toast! ©April 26, 2000 |
