(I drove four miles today and I encountered, heavy winds, downpour of rain, sleet, snow  and now am home and the sun is shining brightly all though the wind is still almost a gale.)

Flirtatious April had her fling
With sweet and trusting, naive Spring.
And then she threw her charms around
And back in Winter's arms was found.
She danced with wind and sun and rain,
And toyed with sleet and snow again.
She flaunted all these her thirtieth day,
Before making room for gentler May.

What a day...glad you're safely home and writing about it.  And didn't you just know as it was happening, that you would?

Nicely rendered!

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.          Wm Wordsworth  (I Wondered Lonely as a Cloud)

Joyce, I really, really like this one, May is my favorite month, I absolutely love it.
For many personal reasons, it is so beautiful, and today was here in Indianapolis.
