Are you captured by the pain,
As old memories come again?
Is your heart weary and sore?
Do you want to say "no -more"?
Do you find you sometimes scream,
But can't awaken from the dream?
Do you feel you're all alone?
And no one ever telephones
Does your spirit disconnect,
Start each day feeling wrecked?
Can you see no light at all?
That's the time when on me call
I'll be your eternal friend
Stay by your side until the end
Although I can't do much at all
Only catch you if you fall
My friend you can depend on me
I'll be there too when you are free.

I had to come back to say something.  A true friend doesn't leave you when you're really sick; they stay WITH you until you get well.....thank you for reminding me of this, Kethry!!!

You have offered your true essence for a friend to the end. No greater sacrifice could be made. Loved the poem!!!

Kethry my sister of heart, oh love I know YOU are that's all that keeps me on track love. It's been a very bad day / night the type of one when I really want to run and hide. Worry not love I'll be okay, I promise,   what's that they say you can't keep a good bubble down.

Thank you love this is utterly superb, as always you write and I feel.

Take care love and warm stuff as always
and thank you so very much
