As windows on myriad worlds etched with full spectrum of our thoughts The fragile nature of the page to be preserved 'gainst the onslaught of age , and its' resultant haze that dims clarity once possessed The swirling tints of words imprint as glaziers' tools to glass are pressed At times transparency is sought to glimpse clear through what lies obscure but leaden is the hand and naught but seams upon the work appear Aside the mirrored images reflected by glass pages whim and what appeared a promised sight grows murky as the prospects dim Were not for what the glazier lacks the piece would not show all the cracks |
