Reach over & explore
higher places of discernment
with me
close your eyes
take another leap of faith
I will catch you on wings
softer than melodic phrases
whispered softly on tempered winds

Come, let's find again our place
At the center where voilins
play achingly sweet songs
that pierces hearts
& gives the willow
a reason to weep

Remember how fairies danced
tip toed over xylophonic symphony
& the nightingale sang beautifully
into approaching night

Then just as we thought we were lost
fireflies lit the darkness & the moon
began it's haunting melody
to accompany us home
were we not happy then?

Take my hand, as once before
explore with me that special place
meant only for you & I
*Leap*,
together we'll fall
in love all over again...

Tiersden?  R.T.?  Is this the R.T. from Papa's?  Lovely poem, very lovely.  There's only one thing, IMO, that detracted.  The language brings a level of wisdom and sophistication all through the piece, lending one to believe experience has created the sincere depth of understanding in the words spoken.  Yet, the "tippy toed" phrase is almost a little too playful, child-like not to detract.  I'm wondering if "tip-toed" would fit better.  Try it, if ya don't like it...it's your poem above all!

Tiersdin..the imagery in this is wonderful...
lovely and uniquely painted...
the whole poem has such a well written ethereal quality about it.
very cool write

Though my soul may sit in darkness,
It will arise in perfect light.
For I have loved the stars too fondly ...
To be fearful of the night.

the nightingale’s song
ushers in the dusky night
heralding darkness

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.
