This is one of my favorites....enjoy!!

Ever since I was a youngster,
I wanted to be sucessful,
live a life of happiness,
and a life that's unstressful.
I know that in order to get the best in me,
I have to dig down deep,
to ignite the fires,
that burns my yearning desires.
I know that I can't do it all by myself
so, I ask God for his help.
With his guidance,
I shall find the courage and strength,
to suceed at life greatest lengths.
Soon, God's help will cease
because ultimately, it's up to me,
to decide how far I wanna go,
or how high up the mountain climb,
and whether or not I wanna shine,
even if I fell off a thousand times
as, I've always believed,
that it's been my destiny,
to reach the best in me
because, I've always wanted to be number one
but, it ain't easy, when there's a million
other gifted poets under the sun.
I want to be the best ever
but, I know that I have to,
get my mind and heart together
because, in order for me to achieve,
I have to really, dig down deep,
in order to get the best out of me.
My poems are a complete work of art,
and I give a 100% effort with all my heart
as my concepts, are well-thoughtout and executed
and my creativity and visualization,
can never be disputed
but, in order for me,
to be the best,
I have to reach down deep,
inside my treasure chest,
in order to achieve,
what I've always wanted to be,
and that's the truly best in me.

Nate its true we must struggle to become the best that we can be...however without Gods initial blessing of life and gifts and ability we would have nothing to work with...some offer much back to their creator and some claim all the fame for themselves...James

Oh thank you, thank you Janet and James....I really appreciate your replies cause for a while I was slightly depressed cause, no one had responded to my work and I had to repost this again after I already posted last week so, thank you very, very, much and peace!
