How Would I know? To hear your voice, your laugh, the tiny sigh you make, the way you rustle when you twist and turn, the pad of your feet across the floor; To see the sparkle in your eyes, your smile, your nose, your hair about your face, the way you look at me; To touch your hand, your cheek, your lips, your heart, your soul; to feel the warmth of your body next to mine… and yet you dare to ask, if I were to ever need you, how would I know. w. james beard, jr. © March 2000 ...received email about this from someone in Passions Family few weeks ago...forgot who from so hope "you" get it this way...jimmy [This message has been edited by jwesley (edited 04-24-2001).] |

James--the answer is obvious to me...but sometimes it's nice to be told anyway...very loving sweetness in this poem. |

I had to smile......how often we do wonder why we're loved. You've expressed it beautifully. |
