Early morning, First day of the rest. Rise and shine, Greet the sun. Rapidly moving, So much to be done. Time is fleeting, Borrowed from beyond. Boss is waiting, Can’t be undone. Sustenance, quickly, Barely touching sides. The tie, the briefcase, Tools of the trade. Kiss her goodbye, Pang of regret, Easy to forget it all And climb back into bed. Out to the transport, Mass of humanity, The ants are now moving, No time for a glance. Moving, One destination, One goal in mind. Get to work, Get there on time. |

Good use of words to convey the insistently quick demand of pace. "I am not now that which I have been." |
