Daisies in the Grass Virginia Salter little girl sitting in the grass blades tickling her thighs and calves as she makes a daisy chain for her mommy and herself the sunshine warms her curls as she carefully thumbnail slices each stem poking the next one in and pulling it through beautiful, tiny white daisies polka-dotting the playground sparkling in the sun waiting there to become ankle bracelets necklaces spring and summertime dressings that speak of love tenderness joyful “in-the-park” play skipping, running dancing in gentle breezes little-girl-hood memories ©April 15, 2000 |

Very nice images painted here. Took me back to my childhood where I was fascinated with daisies, buttercups, dandelions and even razor grass.*S* Thank you. Mike |

Doesn't seem too long ago, that I sat and made these bracelets. Only they were with dandelions. We didn't have daisys. Nice poem. Joyce |
