Endless Love April 22, 2001 Copyright 2001 Doug Pretorius She opens her heart once more he walks in through the broken glass and gently opens the charred door Her hinges creak, painfully resisting 'Not again' her soul cries but her heart yearns and insists His soothing gaze calms her deep within allaying long held fears and sins Her white knuckles rest away from harm as she lets herself fall into his arms Another journey through heart and mind as he holds her hand in his rightly guiding her through kindness Her eyes close at long last as her trust deepens and grows there will be no fall where shadows are cast Even should she stumble or slide his reassuring strength will lift her again back to her feet at his side Her passion returns as she looks into his eyes there's no questioning this love for it goes on endlessly with no need to hide Finally the kiss comes, the perfect embrace the night slips gently into this magical place Their bodies entangle in intricate patterns of light and love They know at morning's rise that all the nights and all the days will never be enough |

Love is such an amazing ... and terrifying thing. I think you did a wonderful job at represtenting not only the wonders but also a few of the pains that come with love. Great writing. "I am not alive enough to kill myself." - Mary Ipal |
