The picture of serenity
complex in it's simplicity
I do so hope you do approve--
it's hard to have your face removed.

But yes indeed, oh this is me,
removed of all my mystery!
Be it bad, or be it good...
I introduce to you, Miss Hood!

Up against the wall again,
dreaming of my future friends.
I hope you come again to read
and share with me a stein of mead!

So with a kiss, I take my bow,
and hope I please discerning crowd.
Bashful now, I show my face
in hopes that I don't clear the place.

(serenity exits...doing the soft-shoe...)

Ah Serenity ... you would never clear the place, only pack them in ... this was wonderful! I've got the grins here. Beautiful flow in this lovely poem, I really enjoyed your thoughts in this peice (and the soft-shoe exit)!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Linen laced clouds on an azure sky
Silken wings of feathered butterfly
Emerald stars and jade moon aglow
Rose washed horizon as the sun sets slow

all these things I see in you
I need no picture to know your beauty is true

*kisskiss*
me

I love your imperfections ... I love your everything ...
Your broken heart ... your broken wings.

Thanks all, but EGADS and YIKES!!! I've finally done it---I've become so Gothic, that I'm DEAD!!!! And Sharon? May have to use another pic...the boyfriend hid that one from me, apparently...and it also mysteriously disappeared from my "gallery" on the pc---and the rest that I have are of me AND HIM...HMMM...maybe I can just erase him?   Hugs to all with a smooch for parker!

Serenty... I am pleased to finally "meet you in cyber person", and what a lovely young lady you are.  Now I can put a face to the fantastic poetry, which I love.
