His love's,
like a tidal wave.
Silently,
it steals the night.
It drowns and leave enough,
to claim its glory.
It sufficates the innocent,
while they scream for mercy.
It navigates,
it's unpredictable.
It plunges,
then retrieves.
Receding,
leaving all the untold damage behind.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.
