why do people stop believing in magic? at two or three, i learned to see the wonder in everything. i'd catch a snowflake, and melt with ache to know how water made that thing. i climbed every tree, just to see what the world looked like from there. i stared at a cloud, wondered aloud "how much do those weigh? i care!" i know answers now, done the math - and how! but i never forgot how to wonder. when i see people frown, faces cast down i want to ask "don't you hear the thunder?" |

Sad how our perspectives change as we get older. Glad yours hasn't! Great poem. Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter |

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see, the problem was not with the world; the problem was me. Our world as we view it can be a red rose or a ragweed. Thanks for your poem I can always be distracted by love, but eventually I get horney for my creativity. |
