The lavender in full bloom ~~ As I walk down the path Past the lavender in full bloom My thoughts cross to you Caressing me gently in the light of the moon ~~ I can smell the lavender around me As I'm dreaming of you and me Dreaming we are together Down by the sea ~~ I touch the swaying buds Swaying in the breeze As I dream we are upon the river bank Amongst the willow tree's ~~ As I walk down the path Past the lavender in full bloom I dream of only you I hope you'll be home soon ~~ Written 09/02/01 Love is the life of the soul... |
