Internal Necrolexicon Each year brings another box Deeply bound with glassine locks Shivers racing up my spine As I hear my youngest whine "No mail for me? Poo!" "Angel, this one's for you." Greed overcomes her rant Ripping the tape with nary a pant Averting my eyes, I hear the scream Look to see greasy steam Mayhaps I'm mad as a Hatter But the box seems a little fatter Fearfully I open the box wide Seeing the book nestled inside Instructions For Sacrifice For You Edited by Cthulhu "But I gave last year!!!" Doesn't matter, have a beer And think of what to tell the wife About Angel and her end of life Terminal Greed, it could work I never liked the little dork Messing and whining and carrying on I'd just as soon have all of em gone But, I need them this time of year Standardized Deductions, sign here Open the cover, start to read Mind slipping, nose bleeds Insanity coming as each page turns Brain fodder for albino worms Madness and understanding link I UNDERSTAND IT, I think I'll have this done in time, no fear I.R.T. Code, present year And then I see Volume Two Also edited by Cthulhu Alicat, the Persnikitty, who did his taxes way back in February “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most |
