Let It Rain Sometimes it takes a storm to feel what I've missed And, I wait anxiously beneath this sky Though it hurts to go through moments where we once stood I need the storms to relive what's behind these eyes... I just stare as the gray clouds roll fast over head I let thoughts of you ride with the extreme warm winds We know it can take a heartache to bring sunshine at last So, let it rain on me and allow me to remember again... Let it rain; let it pour on this heart of mine At least I'll see you just like before I'll take the rain as hard as God wants it to fall And, I'll cherish hearing your voice in my mind once more... We must take the good with the bad when love stands on our side And, we must vow to keep memories at heart It's hard to remember what's been promised then taken away But, this rains all I have to hold while we are apart... So, let it rain, I'll just cry as I smile here, too And, I'll pray a little harder under the waters that fall I wish I was enough in this world to lie with you again But, I'm not the path you chose to walk at all... If the rain must hurt so I can see your face Then I will live beneath it as long as I can If I can wipe the tears yet still sing for you Then the rain, My Friend, is my only chance... Saun Sauni :) |

If the rain must hurt so I can see your face Then I will live beneath it as long as I can This poem speaks to my heart. The best of loves are not easily forgotten. Be well. And write more why don't you? Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter |

Saunni~ You write of such sorrow, that I just want to give you a *hug*. I pray the sun shines for you and you find a rainbow where the rain has been. *HUGS* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
