He met her by chance Her powerful presence crossed the planet perfuming the elixir of his mind He said he loved her Absorbing the words, she ached to understand And hidden like in his darkened motel room She wrote soundless in the gloom. Her man ,sobbing for his stolen thoughts, With unbearable sharing took her hand And called enough Give up . He tempted her to his room Roughly winning But can the addict deny the opium Or the sinning |

Oh it happens way too much, and people are way no to careful... For after the they caught you, they know just what to say to keep you and continue. Cause of many things gone wrong... Just my thoughts though. Bernie A smile a day keeps the world ![]() Bernie Slicker |

Nicely stated, especially the following: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He tempted her to his room Roughly winning But can the addict deny the opium Or the sinning ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ People are human and must learn to forgive the other and, more importantly, themselves. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

That was a shocker, not what I was expecting. Love the comparison to the addict. Good write! Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter |
