Hey, I see you living over there in the corner next to the wall where you cast your gaze A girl (or is she a woman) across the waves reads my fluid vision by way of hand does she understand? I found me tonight sitting under the moonlight I saw my wings take me in flight wind rushes through my head fire pushes back my dread and replaces it with a need to jump into the flame I love everything that means nothing but changes something into something else we spare no expense! as the girl stared into the wall she thought of life and how they fall jumping is reckless I might set up my stall She talks in mute agony afraid to displease the people she sees and the feeling she needs Through her eyes what does she see epitomy of desires and a need to be free once the soul is caught she won't need me so why I should I try and set her free a vision of trapped beauty a feeling of helpless mutiny and I need her to be near I am the gallion, be my steer I'll be the seer. you know the words I need to hear can I trust that you are here? I don't know. Hey, here is my blood can I have my food now? Feed me through the night and I will sleep at dawns presence |
