Its been so long
we've seen so much
its like your gone
but still we touch

We hug each time
and still get teary
two small minds
in a world of fury

Its been a year
yet still when seen
your thoughts I hear
still crystal clean

Yet not untill
it gets all quiet
eyes meet and still
a thoughtful riot

I miss you so
and know you see
but still we go
our ways and meet

I hope you know
what you mean to me
its hard to show
but I know you see

You still hold on
that look in your eye
as our lives press on
yet you tell me you cry

Because you care for me?
or still feel bad?
because you once hurt me?
or know what we had?

I dont care anymore
I just need you to know
I cry 'cause I love you
and want you to know

That whatever goes on
in lives each our own
the closeness can stay
that we've always known.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Vicious cycles so hard to break... I know the feeling all too well. This is an incredible poem... Seeing someone again then watching them leave (again).. pleasurable pain at its best :-)

Oh, ouch. This one aches, sweetie. I know your pain and I have felt it before. It'll get better, in time. In the meantime, hugs to you.
