Waiting 4 my Demons

My room is my sanctuary
I'm scared to go outside
Outside these walls
Lies crime and hatred
But inside I'm serene

I fear my mind
The thoughts inside
How easy it could be

But in my room
I can hide from my mind
Swallow my quiet hellhole
For a while
But I can't hide forever

Soon my demons will come
Eat my flesh
And expose my mind
Fearing for my life

My sanity's been gone too long
To ever be recovered

So here I sit
In my room, my sanctuary
Waiting for my demons

we all battle demons, in greater or lesser
degrees, the victor is those who realize
just what the victory is, what has been

I recognize them all
I've paced between them
chasing demons down
until they fall
in fitful sleep
enough to keep their strength
enough to crawl
into my head
with tangled threads
they riddle me to solve

Yes Demons, and sanity, they just don't seem to go together in the same room, something's going to give. I'd like to fight one some day?? heck I married one once and never fought her.
Anyway you have a great style I like a lot.

Incredibly good and true. I have daemons, I think everyone does. what matters is whether you face them or not....

I hope to someday be able to face mine.....

I don't know what I did wrong but the fae are after me now. Faeries can be so irritable.
