Falling, falling faster memories of love rushing through my brain remembering her face the way she made me feel to hold her in my arms, to feel her lips to mine and how my heart once soared from her love falling faster, not wanting this dream to end then suddenly, my heart shatters striking the cold harshness of reality that my love she no longer desires my touch she no longer craves so I lie here, broken and alone her life moves on, full of life and happiness as my life slowly dies, frozen in sorrow and other heartache chalked up as the rest is only silence Fear destroys the mind, depression destroys the soul... only love and compassion may save you from death. |

All the power of this piece winds it ways to the last two lines, a wonderful touch there, I love those two lines. Well done. With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |

Sadly, a familiar tale... It's said we learn from such experiences and I agree - but don't you wish there was an easier way to learn? Nice write... K Strokes of ink, words, dreams like Waking mountains make intimate conversations With my shadow From 'Words in the Night' by Jeff Geddes |

This trail I have walked several times, it's a deep grove in my life. You have expressed it well. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
