Kids these days see things so wrong They're at places they don't belong Hearing guns fire Hearing people scream Their souls are taken Can't we redeem? Life has no childhood Children are no more Your son's an addict Your daughter a whore Maybe it sounds cruel Yet we know it is true Our children have no life Because of all the things We do... I never will know, which way I should go... But I won't stop to get directions |

it may sound cliched but it is true that there is a air of disenchantment in these times we live it. I think part of it may have to do with the fact that we have not had a movement, every era since the 50's has had a movement young people united through some common bound like music (punk) not saying that this would change the world but there seems to be a general build up of furstration without any outlet anyway I am ranting. enjoyed the poem "you are what you own in this land, you can be king and it all depends on the view and what you can see" Whipping boy |

Heck, I am a kid myself, and even I know that what you wrote is totally true. So many kids just throw there lives away to the filth of this world. Wonderfully written poem! Good job. LadyPeach1 |
