the walls are closing in around me a crushing weight I cannot bear strenghtened by gail force winds I fall to the ground with heaviness my spirit is broken how can I survive? darkened by the calamity a sky clouded by the storm no where to find shelter to run and hide let the winds do their damage and the hail pound down hard destruction will bring it all down demolishing years of hopes and dreams doesn't matter anyway they never were true just a figment of my visions so let it all come tumbling down |

just remember, though the storm rages, there is calmness after the storm. |

Well this is the longest "hell raising" storm I have ever encountered. Still waiting for the calm, and starting to think this one might just be the "big one" that does me in. Thanks for your encouragement though, I appreciate your kindness. Lynne |

Wonderful imagery and parallels are drawn in this piece. I hope you brought your raincoat though Hang in there. Every storm has to pass. Beautiful writing. ~* Megs *~ the Angel who Fell into Darkness "It's only after we lost everything that we are free to do anything. " -- Tyler Durton, Fight Club |
