The first horseman came, And brought a miracle to my life, Found me adoptive parents, Hence he saved me from strife. The second horseman came, Bringing with him love, A pleasure I was immersed in, My gift from above. The third horseman came, And he brought forth my gifts, Lending promise to my life, Ways to fill those rifts. The fourth horseman came, Bringing with him jealousy and distrust, Showing me that not all people are true, That all too soon their hopes and lives will rust. The fifth horseman came, And he showed me my compassion, That I'm to be a carer, To fill this void with love and emotion. The sixth rider came forth, And taught me how to blend all, Hence the dawning of my Age of Reason, The strength and the knowledge, the courage not to fall. My Age of Reason, Always dawns anew, Brings me love, friendship and comfort, Rewards for the good I do.... *War produces one thing - Cemetaries. And in cemetaries there are no enemies!* |

Aye, the "excuses" of youth replaced by our age of "reason". And what might the seventh horseman bring? Perchance the power to see beyond the vail? Great read, as usual. Isis. ![]() "I hate quotes, they suck!" |

enlightment, is my wish for your seventh horseman too. I like the title to this, based on the seven ages of man perhaps? |
