Eerie in bed I lay My sight peering through darkness As if 'twas something there But I see nothing I see nothing Our love is a flame Depending on me But the fire is almost out And I'm running out of wood There are sadness to come Sadness yet to be I seek it, I've sought it 'tis the only thing real (What is this dream? Covered by gory anguish And I wonder on me and you But it's like you allready knew) Are you happy now? Are there any bliss left? Will our love thrive, Before everything's passed away? I thought, I believed 'twould be us Am I wrong, are we withering? Have I loved in vain? Will it all slip into oblivion? Devouered by the eternal slumber of melancholy My sight now peering through time As if a future was to be But nothing I see Nothing I see Modus vivendi What'll be will be I bleed crimson tears Awaiting the eternal melancholy (...It's like you allready knew) -------------------------------------- "To be loved is all I need And whom I love, I love indeed" -Samuel T. Coleridge |

broken, loved the sense of fatalism and melancholy in this write. I also loved your Coleridge quote. Write on Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

I really don't think I can help you with your english since I'm not that good with english. Even though I'm American. ![]() Keep your head up, Broken. Before you know it something will come along to help make things clear and you don't want to miss it. I really liked your poem. The darker side of love... but just as real.... and a necessity. Thank you for sharing. Be kind, be true, be bold, be you. |
