He perhaps I whimpered across the ether, my lonely emerged and my alone searched for the profound so quiet I didn’t hear my own whisper it’s bound in the impossible I can’t see the way he calls heaven yet I am only of the earth he calls the waves of an ocean maid and sees her eyes, catches dreams and cries out hold me oh hold me with your heart these arms are heavy, my dreams are wrought of finality don’t elevate me, I cannot carry the weight of exaltation, time is not my friend yet he passions his reality I question when I ceased to believe in miracle, an only, and I’d define the days if there weren’t so many I’m blinded, I’m bound he can’t dance his way through the curls of hurt, my cover the inevitable is in defeat, so shuddered and he oh and such intensity wounds me he’s myth, my sweet immortal unearthly and the sky contains me he graces stars and carves statues from words, so I’ll keep to the world here, afraid © K. ~graces stars and carves statues from words, so I’ll keep to the world here, afraid~ Bam! If the words before these lines were matches balanced over brushwood, then this stanza/ token was the kindling, catalyst, and embers all ablaze. Struck me straight through… if I could, I’d like say I’ve felt -- what seems to me -- the same as what you illustrate (and so, so finely). May you rise to the company of the stars, or lasso your pedestal-placed item and show them the wonders of solid ground. Be well. |

Bittersweet verse of knowing and to turn overwhelming yesterdays 'pon which dreams were murdered year after tear the mountian built so high the clouds envelope a summit she crys untouchable he shrugs again and gauges the darkwood pathless ascent brambled in iron torn from life baptized in hearts blood gone black where none are said to pass that cry from ether born haunts his soul tasks him marks him he is known to self time has taken him already as surely as the tides of the ocean maid He pauses but to breathe the light regardless his fate only knowing it is enough reaching high beyond dreams plucks a star burning white to place before her He will carry it to the end of days Defiant transcends the unbreaking stride midst the whirlwinds he climbs today tommorrow forever a whisper his only guide [This message has been edited by He (edited 01-15-2001).] |

Your ability to "carve statues" from words will be an asset to you thru the years.... let me just say: Fair Lady of K, Thou knowest how drawn the trouvere are to thee singing their Chanson De Geste while down on bended knee Call upon your sagacious court listen to the beat of your own wise heart prior to opening up your port Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |

Impressed! Wow, this reads off as two different sides. The first side is one speaking of a lover, so entranced in the love affair the subject is near lost. Two, a spiritual endeavor, about God or subjects Hight Power, speaking devotedly of his/her power over humanity. I like this one very much! ![]() With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |
