I don't want to sound trite - because I KNOW how hard life can be - but I believe you are here because life is a precious gift. Something that if we find the inner strength for somehow we can get the most out of. When it seems so dark there is no point, find a little thing, like sky, or the wind - and see the beauty... Virgin Suicide: I know how you feel. Life often does seem meaningless. Perhaps you should start a thread on the meaning of life in the philosophy 101 forum. You would be surprised at the WIDE variety of things people live for. That's why I'm starting to think that the meaning of life is what you want life to mean. So go out there and live life. Go make it what you want it to be. I know that can be difficult, but if you're heart's set on something, chances are, you'll be able to get it. |

Very good write!! Though, I can agree that life sometimes does seem meaningless... its all a matter of finding things that bring it meaning. Sometimes we just have to hunt harder that at other times. |

VS, Here's something I always remind myself whenever I feel I'm uselsess and ask why I'm here at all.."God doesn't make mistakes" Therefore, I'm here for a reason, if nothing else to experience life, take breaths. Smell flowers. I always try to enjoy the little things..they usualy end up making me feel life is worth living. Joy |
