     Eternal Slumber

     My face is hot
     My hands are cold
     My heart it races
     My mind it slows

     I grab the knife
     My grip is tight
     In one swift move
     I’ll see the light

To leave this wicked world of lies
To rest in peace and hear no cries

If I was more gullible and naive
Then maybe this world, I’d choose not to leave

I’ve seen too much in these years past
Eternal slumber I’ll find at last

     The cut is made
     The blood it flows....

     My face is cold
     My hands are froze
     My mind it races
     My heart it slows

     I grab the bible
     My grip is tight
     Though without faith
     I have no might

All my questions will be answered tonight....

The last line equals - intrigue, extreme. Interesting read.

I like the way you put the words together, but i find the subject very sad. i've had a few moments where i wanted to end it all too, but  I hope you know it's not the answer. Jesus Loves you hun. God Bless.
