His touch was the kiss of an angel. Eyesheavenly blue. He swore his lovewas forever, to me he would always be true. Lost in desire. My senses on fire, forgetting the golden rule of Marry in haste I'd no time to waste couldn't wait to whisper I do. Now I'm stuck with a devil, intent in destroying my life rueing the day that I met him, regretting becoming his wife. Daily I'm planning and scheming thinking of what I can do, of ways to be rid of my demon, forever. Wouldn't you? |

Now THIS is a sad poem. The whole irony of the title really hits the reader hard. I hope for two things. One is that this poem is of feelings from the past and you are no longer going through "Hell," and the other is that ridding yourself of your demon isn't quite as bad as I'm thinking... |
